39 years. The company was founded in 1976 and has been under family ownership since 1980.
What is your primary product or service?
Television and audio repairs and service. We also repair pro audio gear, LCD and DLP projectors, and certain home appliances.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My father bought the company in 1980, I have been here ever since, excepting college and a few ventures otherwise.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are the Gold Standard Service center and master service center for the Houston metro area. Our motto is "The name you can trust." We offer the best repair warranty in the industry.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One at present, working on expansion plans.
Provide detailed directions to your location
We're on the SE corner of Walters Road and FM1960, behind the Shell station, 4 miles west of I-45 in north Houston.
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, checks, all major credit cards.
Which areas do you service?
Primarily north Houston, Spring, Tomball, Cypress, Magnolia, Woodlands. We go to other areas of the city on a request basis.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Eugene E. Doba is the company owner, daily operations are managed by his sons, Dean and John.
What are your hours of operation?
M-F 8:30 AM to 5 PM Saturdays 9AM to 3 PM
