How long have you been in business?
HASC has proudly served the Greater Houston Area petrochemical industry since 1990.
What is your primary product or service?
As a not-for-profit 501(c)3 with the mission of building safer workplaces by improving the quality and integrity of the workforce, HASC provides safety, health and environmental training; substance abuse program management; contractor pre-qualification; occupational health services; and more.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
HASC was formed by a task force of the Houston Business Roundtable, a 501(c)6 non-profit, to provide consistent, quality training and other services to reduce redundancies, improve efficiencies, and keep our workforce safe.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
HASC is committed to providing quality service in the most cost-effective manner to our membership.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our Deer Park Headquarters is located in the heart of the petrochemical industry, while our NASA Annex is conveniently located near NASA's Johnson Space Center. We also have a satellite location in St. Croix, Virgin Islands. HASC has purchased 24 acres in Deer Park for the expansion of our campus.
What type of payments do you accept?
HASC accepts cash, company check, credit cards.
Which areas do you service?
As many of our services are web-deliverable, HASC can service virtually anyone, anywhere. Our physical locations are in Southeast Houston, but we can send our team off-site to perform training and occupational health services anywhere.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Our association is governed by a board of volunteers from the industry. Our association is managed by a team of professionals who are truly committed to serving our membership.
What are your hours of operation?
Our Deer Park Headquarters is open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday. Our NASA Annex is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
