With a registered landscape architect on staff, we are pleased to offer you the following services: Landscape design / Installation, Drainage, Patio Covers / Arbors, Hardscape i.e. brick pavers, colored-textured concrete etc., Landscape Lighting, Fountains, Fencing, and Irrigation Systems.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Laird Landscaping, Inc. was founded in September 1982 by Otis V. Laird, Jr. Otis is a graduate of Texas Tech University and a registered landscape architect with the state of Texas. After working seven years as a landscape architect/salesman for a Houston based nursery, he decided to start his own company and has been pleasing clients now for over 34 years. His son, Trey, also a graduate of Texas Tech with a Landscape Architecture degree, is carrying the family business forward and has been an integral part of the growth and success of the family business for the past 21 years. Laird Landscaping, Inc. has been named one of the Top Ten Landscaping companies in Houston by the Houston Business Journal. Otis has also been a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) since 1985, and the Texas Nursery & Landscape Association (TNLA) since 1985. In 2000, TNLA presented Laird Landscaping, Inc. with a Texas Excellence in Landscaping Distinction Award in the Residential Design/Build category. Laird Landscaping has three Landscape Architects on staff to handle the diverse needs of their clientele in a professional and timely manner.
