How long have you been in business?
SafeSpace Concepts, Inc is completing its 25th year in business as of July, 2014.
What is your primary product or service?
We design and produce, on site in Houston, both indoor and outdoor playground equipment for gross motor and interactive play as well as seating and additional furnishings for early childhood environments.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I became interested in equipment for early intervention and development as a result of my work as a clinical psychologist; first at the VA Hospital followed by work involving early childhood issues.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We currently ship nationwide and internationally as our equipment is unique in design and made of top quality, highly durable materials. Due to the uniqueness of forms and type of materials used, all products are hand finished and can not be mass produced by machines.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location in Houston.
