IT support for small/medium size business who can not afford a full time IT staff.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Both owners grew up with computers and love technology. IT support is a natural path for us. We also enjoy the family owned company feel and the personal relations we have developed with our customers over the years.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
With over 40 years of combined IT experience UNETEK commitment to our customers is quite simple: UNETEK provides effective, fast and honest service at reasonable rates. Our commitment is to work with you as a partner and educate you about all the options available for your business, so that you can make a well-informed decision about your information technology services.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Houston/Katy area. We are expanding into Austin and San Antonio with a client base already established.
Provide detailed directions to your location
Head west on I-10. Exit Highway 90 and turn North into Katy. You should be hugging the railroad on your right after a short curve. Drive to the Ave D light. Turn North. We are on the left just past the Fire Dept. If you hit a stop sign, you have gone too far. UNETEK Inc. is located at: 1514 Avenue D Katy, TX 77493-1959
What type of payments do you accept?
Check or cash only. Established clients have net terms.
Which areas do you service?
West Houston from downtown past the Galleria into Sugar Land, Richmond, Katy and North into Tomball.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Joel Brown and Freddy Doty.
What are your hours of operation?
Generally 8-5 but in IT you are 24 hours!
