Since our beginning over 40 years ago, WeldFit has become a leading manufacturer of standard and custom products for the pipeline, oilfield, refining, and petrochemical industries. WeldFit has an extensive range of equipment, skills, and experience that provide us the capability to manufacture products that meet and exceed our customer’s expectations. With many years of experience, our engineering staff excels in collaborating with our customers to develop designs that meet requirements and satisfy applicable design codes. WeldFit’s welding department is very adept at welding many different types of steel, using a variety of processes. We also maintain a complete machine shop, capable of manufacturing all of our products efficiently.
Along with our outstanding welding and manufacturing capabilities, WeldFit has developed specialized skills and tooling to extrude branch outlets. Extruded branch outlets have many inherent advantages over more traditional welded branches. In particular, extruded branch outlets allow for reinforcement to be designed into the neck of the extrusion and they are easier to radiographically inspect. Currently WeldFit has the capability to extrude up to 48” NPS outlets, through plate up to 4” thick, in combination with virtually unlimited header diameters.
Located in Houston, Texas, WeldFit has access to numerous material suppliers and a transportation infrastructure that enable us to respond quickly to emergency requests. Because Houston has a large manufacturing community, there is a sizeable pool of material suppliers in the area, who maintain vast inventories of many types of steel. Having access to material means WeldFit can start manufacturing quickly, without waiting for steel to be delivered from somewhere else in the country. Access to the Port of Houston, Houston Intercontinental Airport, and a huge trucking fleet; allows our products to be shipped anywhere in the world efficiently and quickly.
