The Bob McDougal Sewing Machine Co. opened in October of 1940.
What is your primary product or service?
Sewing machines, sergers and sewing furniture. We service all brands of products.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Third generation family business. Youngest grandson.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We do one thing and one thing only. Sewing machine business. Not vaccumm cleaners, TV's or any thing else.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have two locations. And no plans of expanding.

Katy location: I-10 west to Fry Road- turn right. Second light is Park Row- turn left and we are on the left behind Wal-Mart.
Sugar Land location: I-59 South to Hwy. 6- turn left. First light is Town Center Blvd.- turn right and second entrance to parking lot- turn left. (By The Mens Warehouse)

Monday through Friday 9 am to 6 pm. Saturday 9 am to 5 pm.
