How long have you been in business?
Solar X was established in 1973 and is Houston’s first window tinting company. Its president Jim Nardone started his career in the industry in 1980.
What is your primary product or service?
We are a 3M Prestige Window Film Dealer. Our products are sun control window film, safety and security window frost graphic and design film. We also offer window treatment, blinds and shades to our commercial customers.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
The owner was hired as an installed in 1980, he moved to sales then management and eventually ownership.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Solar X is a full service company with the best trained installation crew in the business. When 3M wanted to create an installation video to train all their dealers in the USA they came to Solar X to provide the installers and the direction.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
we have one location but service the entire Texas Gulf Coast region.

We accept all credit cards

The greater Texas Gulf Coast region, including the greater Houston area.

7:30 AM until 5:00 Pm Monday through Friday and 9:00 AM until Noon on Saterday
