Mission Statement
The Mission Statement of the Ministry is to affect change within the body of Christ by making disciples and building them up so that they may function to the glory of God.
Vision Statement...
The vision of EastGate is to inflict personal and intentional discipleship through commitment, attention, modeling, and Biblical teaching, which would help aid the believer to mature, functional, fruitful and spiritual reproductive persons within the body of Christ
The Method
I. Consistency with Commitment
A. Having a heart that’s committed to the spiritual growth of the believer. (Col. 1: 24-29; 2 Cor. 11:28-29; 2 Tim.2:10)
B. Having a heart that’s committed to the unique needs of the believer. (1 Thess. 5:14; 1 Thess. 2:11; Acts 20:31)
C. Having a willingness to be vulnerable and to be an example before the believer ( 1 Cor. 4:15-16; 11:1; Phil. 3:17; 2 Thess. 3:7-9; Heb. 13:7)
II. Consistency with Communication (intellectual stimulation and physical interaction)
A. Intentionally contacting the believer. (Eph 6:21-22; Phil. 2:19; Col. 4:8; 1 Thess. 3:5)
B. Intentionally making arrangements to spend time with the believer. (1 Thess. 1:5; 1 Thess. 5:12; 2 Thess. 3:7)
C. Personal and/or public bible study with the believer. (Col. 1:28-29; Eph. 4:11-16; 1 Thess. 2:13)
