We collaborate with each book client to write your story in your voice in a professional and compelling way. We help organize and plan your book, then collaboratively and incrementally develop your story, chapter by chapter. Once your book is complete, we perform at least two thorough, independent end-to-end edits. We also write/edit any front matter (Introduction, Foreword, Acknowledgements) and back cover copy. And, lastly, we format your book into a print-ready manuscript for publication or submittal to an agent or publisher.
On the technical writing side, we have experience in virtually every industry sector (e.g. Oil & Gas, IT, Manufacturing, Medical, Government, Construction, Processing, Aerospace, Retail) and nearly every technical discipline (e.g. safety, environmental, mechanical, structural, thermal, hydraulic/pneumatic, electrical/electronic, petrochemical, biomedical, computer software/firmware/hardware, communications). We specialize in technical step-by-step procedures, operating procedures, plans, policies, data- and record-gathering forms, RFPs and proposals, product descriptions, presentations, and training modules; however, we have a knack for bridging the gap between information "owners" (a.k.a. SMEs) and consumers with a reputation for translating complex into straightforward.

We have been performing technical writing as a business since 2008. Since 2010, we have been ghostwriting and editing books as a team for our clients, and we have professionally produced over 10 books on subjects, such as business, personal story/memoir, medicine, law, how-to, history, and fiction. We have a 100% satisfaction rating from our clients with their books!
What is your primary product or service?
We develop (i.e. write) or improve (i.e. edit) documents whether they are personal or business books, presentations, procedures, proposals, website content, whatever you have or need written or edited professionally, that is what we do! In our ghostwriting and editing service, we collaborate with each client to "create your vision on the page". In our technical and business writing and editing service, we collaborate with each client to produce "clear, concise, and valid" documentation collateral, every time.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
The saying, "If you pursue your passion, you'll be passionate about what you do, every day!" holds true for us: Writing and editing are our passions! Mark (with a B.A. in English) has always been passionate about writing--technical, business, and creative. Wendy (M.A. in English and Linguistics) has likewise been a passionate writer from her youth with a zeal for "getting the story" as a journalist and editor. When God brought Mark and Wendy together, the synergy was electric and we began collaborating to help people whose job description or expertise does not include the word "writer". We strive to help others (individuals and people in businesses) create solid, effective, compelling, and accurate writing--be it a book, a story, product descriptions, procedures for their business, or copy to bring new business.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
When you work with Henderson Enterprise, you work directly with your writers and editors, Mark & Wendy, with no other parties involved--and no third party overhead! We give personalized service, and collaborate with every client personally to create your vision on the page, or to create effective clear, concise, and valid business documentation collateral. We have offices in Alvin, Texas (just outside Houston), and Melbourne, Florida, but we often work with clients remotely throughout the United States, Canada, and abroad.
