In 1981 Jan Christiansen left Copenhagen, Denmark and arrived in Houston, Texas with a vision to “establish a modern and contemporary furniture store that showcased high quality and innovative designs, but most importantly great customer service”. Over the past 30 years Danish Inspirations has more than exceeded Jan’s dream becoming synonymous with outstanding furniture from makers including Natuzzi, Ekornes, Alf, Skovby, Jesper, and Mobican, just to name a few. You may have even heard our radio commercials featuring Jan’s friendly accented voice inviting you in for a look at today’s “furniture with a future”.

What is your primary product or service?
Service, repair and new unit installation of central air conditioning and heating equipment.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Started by working as a helper during summers off from high school. Started full time after school, began by installing equipment, then was trained & schooled to service equipment. Evolved into sales & management and lastly ownership.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
All customers and their air conditioning and heating systems are unique, therefore we provide various options to satisfy the customers needs in comfort and their budgets.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Opened a new storefront in Cypress, TX a couple years with no plans to add another location. As we grow we expand by adding employees and more trucks.

We are located off Cypress North Houston Rd between Huffmeister and Eldridge.
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, check, all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express). Also, have long-term financing available with approved credit.
Which areas do you service?
Greater Houston area including Cypress, Sugar Land, Tomball, Spring, Woodlands and Kingwood.
